About Me

Hi, my name is Jackie! Welcome to Breader Without Gluten. I recently discovered that I have gluten intolerance. As a result, I have been experimenting with recipes to make some of my favorite dishes gluten-free without compromising any of the flavor. On this blog, you’ll find delicious dishes with fresh, nourishing ingredients. That said, you’ll also find recipes for indulgent snacks and desserts! I created this website to share these recipes and my love of quick, easy-to-make meals.

I grew up surrounded by Chinese food. My parents owned a Chinese-American takeout restaurant – think crab rangoons, General Tso’s chicken, dumplings, and egg rolls! Not being able to eat so many of these foods that I grew up with has been challenging, and even just writing about them now makes me crave them 🤤 I hope to experiment with recipes and create satisfying and affordable gluten-free alternatives to all these recipes that I grew up with along with new foods I have come to love.

Currently, I work in the tech industry during the daytime and spend much of my free time cooking and baking. Outside of work, I like to explore new areas, go on hikes, and dance!
